Paul Tsoi grew up in Hong Kong in a multicultural family. His parents are Chinese Indonesians, and from a young age Paul was immersed in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Indonesian. This rich background shaped his heart for diverse cultures and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Paul’s faith journey began in a vibrant Pentecostal church in Hong Kong, where he encountered a living God and a dynamic, Spirit-filled faith. Beginning in 2001, Paul pursued theological training while actively serving in ministry. His early years focused on sharing God’s love with grassroots communities through evangelism and practical compassion. In 2011, he began serving as a pastor, and in 2017 he completed his Bachelor of Theology at Ecclesia Theological Seminary.
Paul served in his church in Hong Kong, where he played a key role in rebuilding and establishing new youth ministries. He designed and expanded youth programs that inspired teenagers to passionately pursue Jesus, launched youth evangelism and multimedia ministries, and walked closely with families both within the church and the wider community.
In 2022, Paul immigrated to Vancouver with his wife Agnes and their two teenage sons, Timotheus and Titus. He served at Burnaby Christian Pentecostal Church, caring for Hong Kong newcomers as they navigated faith, family life, and settlement in Canada, while also reaching out to underserved communities in the city.
Since 2026, Paul has been serving at HOME Church, continuing his calling to love God, love people, and journey alongside the Cantonese-speaking community with joy and hope.
