Celebrate Advent at Home

Mark your calendars, invite your friends and family, and join us for a very special Christmas season at Home Church! Our theme this year is “Celebrate a Season of Joy,” focusing on the powerful names of Jesus in our Advent series, He Shall Be Called. Each Sunday, families will help lead us in lighting the Advent candles, and our Christmas Choir will lead us in worship — you won’t want to miss these meaningful and joy-filled services!

Vision Update November 23

Join us after each service on Sunday, November 23, as Pastor Andy shares an important Vision Update for Home Church. He’ll be giving updates on our ongoing renovations, ministry highlights, and current giving trends as we continue to move forward in the mission and vision God has placed before us. We’re excited for you to be part of what God is doing through Home Church!

Water Baptism

Ready to take the next step in your journey with Jesus? Home Church invites you to our next Water Baptism Class on Sunday, November 30, from 10:30–11:15 a.m. in the church basement. If you’re considering baptism, this class will help you understand its meaning and significance as you prepare for this important step of faith. Our next Baptism Service will be held on Sunday, December 28. Register for the class [HERE].

Cantonese Alpha

Do you have questions about faith, purpose, or life? Join us for a meaningful time of conversation over a shared meal as we explore some of life’s most important questions together. This Alpha series, held in Cantonese, is open to everyone. We meet at Home Church on Saturdays from 6:30–8:30 PM, running from October 18 to December 6. Legacy at Home

Are you 55+? Home Church invites you to Legacy at Home—a meaningful time of connection with traditional hymns, a Bible study, and a shared lunch for our Legacy Builders. Our next gathering will take place in January—stay tuned for dates and details!

Sunday Prayer Times

We invite you to join us for pre-service prayer in the lower level each Sunday. These are meaningful times to come together in prayer — lifting up our church, our community, and all that God is doing in this new season of growth, faith, and unity.

Next Gen + Families

Sunday Mornings - We are currently in a soft launch this fall. We welcome you to the following programs. Students will be dismissed following the music worship portion of the service.

Babies + Toddlers (9:30am & 11:30am services) - Supervised childcare
Youth Bible Class (11:00am in-between services) - For high school students
Kids (11:30am service) - For school-age children

Friday Night Youth (Grades 7-12) - Each gathering typically runs from 7pm-9pm and is a time of hanging out with friends and sharing life together. Follow us on instagram for the latest news or email us for more information.

OUR STORY

For many years, our church was known as Vancouver Chinese Pentecostal Church, a bilingual congregation serving those from a Chinese context. In 2023, prompted by the Holy Spirit, we took a step of faith to become a multicultural church. We are also proud to be affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, connecting us to a wider faith community.

Rooted in the Riley Park and Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods, we are committed to embracing community, sharing life together, and offering hope to our neighbours. This hope is not just an idea—it is found in a person: Jesus Christ, who transforms lives.

Home Church stands for Hope on Main & Eighteenth. This new identity honours our heritage while pointing us forward, as we invite the Holy Spirit to transform and empower us.
